Ashley Renee Evans is the Business Relationship Manager for Chicago Anchors for a Strong Economy (CASE) at World Business Chicago. In her role, Ashley fosters strategic relationships between Chicago’s anchor institutions; such as universities, cultural institutions, hospitals, government organizations and corporations; with small and medium sized businesses, who can supply their needs to build economic vitality across Chicagoland’s neighborhoods. Ashley also leads the technology development of a platform designed to assess local businesses and match them to procurement opportunities.
Ashley began her career in finance at The Northern Trust Company as one of 16 participants selected to join their Global Opportunities and Leadership Development “GOLD” program where she received formal Credit Training. After taking roles in commercial banking and sales and trading, Ms. Evans later served as a 2nd Vice President in the Wealth Management Group and was responsible for managing more than $2 billion in credit exposure for ultra-high net worth individuals. Additionally, Ashley was appointed to serve on the bank’s Diversity and Inclusion Council where she received the Chairman Award from CEO Rick Waddell for her work. Just prior to joining CASE, Ms. Evans was the Founder of GLAMSTAND, a funded startup and online marketplace for celebrity and up-and-coming makeup artists.
Ms. Evans received her Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Marketing with Honors from Howard University and a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Ms. Evans is active in numerous civic and charitable organization across Chicago, most notably, Breakthrough Urban Ministries.
