Benjamin Kelner is the Director of Strategy and External Relations for World Business Chicago’s Chicago Sister Cities International (CSCI) division, having joined the organization in 2012. Benjamin leads CSCI’s external relations efforts by providing expertise and facilitating the development and execution of marketing and communications for CSCI and its programs. He supports the Development and Programming teams to produce events, initiatives and exchanges that advance the mission of CSCI. He is a member of CSCI’s senior leadership and plays a key role in CSCI’s strategic planning.
Prior to joining World Business Chicago, Benjamin worked in the communications division of the Chicago Office of Tourism and Culture as part of the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, working on public and media relations on tourism initiatives and cultural programming at the Chicago Cultural Center, Millennium Park and for City of Chicago arts and cultural initiatives.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Culture from Indiana University and a Master of Arts Management from Columbia College Chicago.
